It's true. I like making lists. However, I can justify this one by pointing out that if I meet one of these people in the future, I can flatter them by saying, "Oh, I remember you gave a talk at Northwestern in so-and-so year." I have attended many good talks that taught me different aspects of physics, other than what I study from day to day. In fact, I see attending seminars as a key aspect of my physics education, and a privilege that I'm privy to as a student in physics.
